With the Database Manager interface, you can set up a brand new database in a matter of seconds - just specify its name and that's it. You will see a list of all your DBs and their corresponding sizes. You will be able to alter passwords, to create backups and to even log into the phpMyAdmin and phpPgAdmin tools.
Simple Database Backups
It is very important to create periodic backups of your databases to protect your website content and to prevent any incidental data loss. With the Database Manager graphical user interface, creating a database backup file is very easy. Just click on the Backup icon next to the database you wish to back up and you will be instantaneously taken to the File Manager from where you can download your freshly created backup file.
MySQL and PgSQL Databases
The number of PostgreSQL and/or MySQL DBs that you can set up differs depending on the website hosting plan that you have with us. While MySQL is a very famous database management system employed by millions of users all around the world, PostgreSQL is thought of as being a more advanced database management system and is chiefly used by technically advanced website administrators. You can manage your MySQL databases via the phpMyAdmin software tool, whereas PostgreSQL DBs can be administered through the phpPgAdmin software tool.
